Safety Tip
A
self defense weapon is a tool, and that tool can
be VERY useful in keeping you safe. However,
you've got to remember a couple of things:
1. Learn to use the weapon
Just having it doesn't mean it'll be any help at
all. Whatever weapon you carry, you NEED to get
trained in it's use, otherwise it won't work for
you, or worse yet, it'll work at the wrong time
and damage the wrong person.
2. Weapons don't work if you aren't holding
them.
A gun doesn't help if it's still in its holster,
and pepper spray or a stun gun isn't too useful
if it's in the bottom of your purse or in the
kitchen drawer when your away from home.
Being a tool, a weapon won't work on it's own.
Weapons aren't animate objects, just waiting for
a chance to kill someone, nor are they capable
of action on their own. It's a tool and what it
does depends only on what you do with it.
