About Us

   Hi, my name is Steve; this is my wife Roann, our daughter Naomi, and our son Jacob. We're the owners of North American Security Products, LLC
 
   We started this company because we saw the honest need to get these products into the hands of anyone who really wants to feel safer in an uncertain, and sometimes dangerous world.

   No matter where you live, there will always be those people who think they've been cheated by life, and now they have the right to attack someone else in a demented attempt to even the score.

   Sometimes it's just a desperate person who doesn't know what else to do, and they end up turning to crime. Or it may even be a drug addict looking to pay for their next fix. Whatever the excuse someone uses for turning to crime, it's no excuse for attacking another person.

    I have personally been a student of self defense for years, so when I walk down the street with my family, I walk with confidence. Sometimes that air of confidence alone is enough to send a wannabe criminal off in search of an easier target.

   Now I'm not saying I could kick the crap out of any 300 lb, drugged out, shaved gorilla who's looking for trouble. But I feel pretty confident I can handle most any situation and keep anyone busy long enough for my family to get to safety. And I also have a few tricks up my sleeve (or in my pocket) just in case I'm up against more than one attacker.

   I strongly believe you have the right to feel confident and secure in your own neighborhood, but I also know not everybody can be a self defense expert, and that's where we come in. We're here to help you level the playing field and help you feel safer by providing you with personal self defense weapons and security products.

   You have the right to feel safe in your home and on the street.

   As you can see, I have a wife and two small children, and I tell you right now, I will do anything I can to protect them by "Any Means Necessary".

   Some of the products we carry are considered illegal in some parts of this country. We will not knowingly ship anything to a destination where we know they are against the law, but we can't be held responsible for knowing every law, in every city, in this entire country. So you should check your own local laws before purchasing anything from our (or anyone else's) store.

   On the other hand... even if you're breaking some silly outdated law by protecting yourself, you need to ask yourself one question... "Would you rather be a defendant in a courtroom" (because you were carrying a pepper spray against the wishes of your local lawmakers) - or- "Would you rather be a statistic on a crime sheet" (because you weren't prepared to defend yourself ?)  It's your call, but in my mind, the decision is an easy one.

   I used to believe that firearms were the best method of protection, but then I started reading stories of innocent victims that were hit by stray bullets. (No one was ever accidentally killed by a stray pepper spray or stun gun from half a block away) I even saw one news story about a man who accidentally shot his own son thinking it was a prowler in the middle of the night. That's when I started looking into non-lethal self defense weapons.

   Do I still have my firearms? Heck yeah, I love guns, but I prefer to use non lethal protection instead of a gun whenever possible. You can still stop a prowler in their tracks, but if you somehow mistakenly shoot a friend or a family member, they'll still be alive the next day to hear your apology (or for you to hear their apology).

   My wife has a keychain pepper spray and a Kubotan she carries with her whenever she's out walking with our kids. And I often grab a stun gun or a steel baton whenever I'm out and about (just in case). So you see, we not only sell these products, but we believe in them enough to carry them ourselves.

   When I was in the army, I helped to protect the people of this country. Now that I'm a civilian, I'm still fighting to protect you, by providing you with the means to protect yourself.

   The only unfortunate part of this business, for us, is that by law we can't ship these products to everyone who needs them. Some states just won't allow it. Some lawmakers sit in their gated communities, safe from crime, and pass laws preventing honest citizens from protecting themselves... Shameful!

   Most of the weapons on this site are non-lethal and many of them could save your life, or the life of someone you care about. Some of the other products we carry are just really cool, and we had to bring them to you.

   These are products you just can't find at most stores. We built this site so we could bring them right to your door.

   So why should you buy from us?

   That's a very good question.

   There are literally hundreds (maybe thousands) of websites out there offering similar products. What makes us any different?

   Well, unfortunately, many companies are only interested in selling you a stun gun or pepper spray, and once your money is in their pockets, that's the end of the relationship, unless they think they can sell you something else.

   We have a slightly different philosophy towards this business.

   Sure, we offer top quality merchandise, affordable prices, reliable shipping and guarantees, but so does everybody else. We're even members of the Better Business Bureau, which means we adhere to strict ethical standards. But that's only a small part of it...

   The big difference is once you've purchased your products from us, it's not the end of our relationship, it's just the beginning...

   We are more interested in keeping you and your family safe than in just making a quick buck or two.

  Finally... Here at North American Security Products we are on a mission to make this country a safer and better place to live. We know it will be a never ending task, but we have to start somewhere. So 10% of our profits are now being donated to local shelters and food kitchens in the New England area. We hope to expand that territory as our business grows.
